[New] Liquid War - multiplayer war game for the N900
Liquid War is an original multiplayer wargame. There are no weapons, the only thing you have to do is to move a cursor in a 2-D battlefield. This cursor is followed by your army, which is composed by a great many little fighters, represented by small colored squares. When fighters from different teams meet, they eat each other, it is as simple as that. A single player mode is available, but the game is definitely designed to be multiplayer, and has network support.

[New] AdvancedCaching for the N900
AdvancedCaching from Daniel Fett is a paperless (offline) geocaching application. AGTL downloads cache locations in the area visible on the map including their description, hints, difficulty levels and images. Searching for caches in your local DB is a matter of seconds. The currently selected cache is shown on the map (and also all the others if you want) and there's a traditional compass-like view that show the direction to the cache.

[New] VICE - Versatile Commodore (C64) Emulator for the N900
VICE (Versatile Commodore Emulator) is an emulator running on multiple hardware and software platforms (now including Maemo 5) and executing programs intended for old 8-bit computers. It emulates the Commodore C64, the C64DTV, the C128, the VIC20, almost all PET models, the PLUS4 and the CBM-II (aka C610). Only C64 emulation has been tested in this version (and works really nice!) but emulation of other models is also available.

EasyPlayer is an easy to use music/audio book player for Maemo. It scans automatically the audio files on startup and represents those files in a directory like tree structure. It depends on the filename rather than on the meta tags. It also has a resume play function and a configurable timeout.

PSX4All Maemo Edition is another Sony Playstation emulator for the Maemo 5 platform from Tomasz Sterna. This emulator has a working dynarec and different software GPU plugin, so it's faster than the PCSX emulator. Disk access is slower, though.

Bochs from Toni Nikkanen is a highly portable, free IA-32 (x86) PC emulator written in C++. It includes emulation of the Intel x86 (CPU, common I/O devices, and a custom BIOS). Bochs is capable of running most operating systems inside the emulation including GNU, GNU/Linux, *BSD, FreeDOS, MS DOS and Windows 95/NT.

ARAnyM ("Atari Running on Any Machine") from Kaj-Michael Lang is a software virtual machine (similar to VirtualBox or Bochs) designed and developed for running 32-bit Atari ST/TT/Falcon operating systems (TOS, FreeMiNT, MagiC and Linux-m68k) and TOS/GEM applications on any kind of hardware. ARAnyM is not meant as an emulator of Atari Falcon (even though it has a rather high Falcon software compatibility and includes most of Falcon custom chips including VIDEL and DSP). ARAnyM is better in the sense that it's not tied to specification of an existing Atari machine so it can include the most complete CPU (68040 with MMU) and FPU (68882), accelerated graphics (even with OpenGL) and direct access to various host resources including sound, disk drives, optical storage devices, parallel port and more...

Activity Manager (actman) is a status menu applet from Stefanos Harhalakis that allows the user to have multiple activities (a la KDE's plasma). An activity is the set of all desktop widgets, bookmarks and icons along with the background. For example, it is possible to have an activity named "car" where the desktop is customized to be easily accessible while driving without having many icons. Then another activity named "games" to include shortcuts to games. Then another activity named "clean" without any widgets on the desktop in order to conserve battery.

Fine, but can someone please take a look at the existing UAE Amiga emulator once ported to the N800/N810 and make it work on the N900? It's such a shame that we still don't have Amiga emulation on the N900 while it most probably doesn't take much work to make the Chinook release work on Fremantle!
