Allen,
You have to go to Settings > (Extras) Subtitels and there you see the menu ( like the picture on top of this page ). When you now go to Media player en select a movie it should work ( the .srt and the .avi have to have the same name ) [Rate: 9/10] |

i wan to know if your updating this app it works the 1st time i download it but when i turn off my n900 it doesnt work anymore i have to install it again for it to work... any ideas? [Rate: 7/10] |

Thank you, this is very useful to me not just for foreign films but also for films in my own language as my hearing is poor. I didn't have to do anything special except install the app and then set it to auto-load the subtitles - no problems at all. For me this is a must-have. [Rate: 9/10] |

HEllo , i have the same problem whith codecs ... That i can not install while i have no gstreamer 0.10.25-0maemo7+0m5 - i found this codec in the EXTRA DECODERS SUPPORT APP... i have istall it and again the same problem ... [No rate] |

On my initial test subtitles are working just great.
Allen: you need to set the automatic loading of subtitles in setup before it works and of course you need to have the subtitles available with the video. Usually either .sub or .str file located in same directory with the video itself and named with similar name. (video.avi & video.sub) [Rate: 9/10] |
