VNC server to allow remote access to an existing X session.
x11vnc allows one to view remotely and interact with real X displays (i.e. a display corresponding to a physical monitor, keyboard, and mouse) with any VNC viewer. It has built-in SSL encryption and authentication, UNIX account and password support, server-side scaling, single port HTTPS and VNC, mDNS service advertising, and TightVNC and UltraVNC file-transfer.

thanx for this app!
one li'l caveat: when screen goes black (default=30 sec) you have to hit a key on the phone in order to reactivate it. [No rate] |

No real icon for you menu/desktop yet. After opening it, the program will disappear but keeps running. It will terminate after one connection-session!!! Meaning you have to restart it every time you want to use it!
I does not ask for a password, as it is only running for one session. There is no way of seeing in X11VNC is still running or not, also you can terminate it.
I have read that is should be possible to keep it running after each connection, if the password is set. But I don't know how. [Rate: 6/10] |

Really cool to see N900 screen on PC!. Perofrmance coulbe better though [Rate: 9/10] |
