If you have a lot of media files on your N900 then it may sometimes be difficult to quickly locate the song or video you'd like to watch/listen to. Fortunately, there is a very easy and quick way to find media files by name.

Similarily to the Contacts application where you can quickly find entries just by typing some characters, in the Media Player you can fiter songs and videos by their name just by keying in (using the hardware keyboard) part of their name. As you type more and more characters, the list of search results gets narrower to match your query.
